Meet your host
Hi, I’m Katie and I’m the host at Seabrook Beach House.
I’ve been an Airbnb super host for more than 10 years now and I absolutely love it!
Although I originally started my first Airbnb property as a hobby, I discovered that I really enjoy interacting with guests and providing the little touches that bring a smile to their faces.
You can usually find me at “Beauty at the Hair Shop” in Port Douglas which is my own beauty and massage therapy business so let me know if you’d like to pre-book for a relaxing treatment while you are here.
When I’m not working or hosting, I love water skiing at Lake Tinaroo or taking my own getaways with friends.
I’ve been a Port Douglas local for more than 25 years and love helping my guests to make the most of their stay in our beautiful piece of paradise.
The Seabrook Beach House Story
When I first came to view Seabrook Beach House, I wasn’t even looking to buy but it was love at first sight! Everywhere I looked, I saw potential – especially as an Airbnb property.
The house needed some work, but I’ve never been one to shy away from a challenge and with the help of my amazing parents, we bought the property in May 2022.
After months of renovating, the house was finally ready to list on Airbnb and we’ve had such amazing feedback ever since.
Having stayed at many Airbnb properties myself, I often found décor to be impractical and I have stayed in places where I was terrified, we were going to break something. That’s not an issue with Seabrook Beach House – we want you to feel comfortable in the house so our décor is all very robust and minimal, so it doesn’t matter if the kids accidentally knock it over!
We continue to make minor improvements and love to listen to our guests to hear what they want so we can keep providing a quality experience for them.
It’s such a joy knowing that our guests love it as much as we do.

“Katie’s house was excellent plenty of room short walk to the beach short drive to Main Street shops and restaurants. The outdoor area was stunning with a fantastic pool where we spent most of our time. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well laid out. Katie is a fantastic host and was there when we needed her. Definitely would recommend this house and will be back as soon as we can.”
